PolisOne B.V. processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page summarises the data we collect, why we collect it, who receives it, and the rights you have over your data.

Who is the data controller

PolisOne B.V., Damstraat 37, 4401 AC Yerseke, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce no. 42127898), is the data controller for the personal data we process when you use this service. Contact: privacy@polisone.com.

What we collect

We collect: your Swedish personal identity number, name and contact details when you sign in with BankID (the identity number is used solely to identify you through BankID and our data provider); the insurance policy data retrieved on your instruction and with your consent; the overview and comparison results we generate from it; and basic usage analytics (page views, button clicks), subject to your cookie consent.

Why we process it

To deliver the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): read your policies, show coverage gaps and overlaps, and compare your cover with the market. To meet legal obligations that apply to us as a Dutch company, including bookkeeping (Art. 6(1)(c)). For usage analytics and marketing measurement, only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Who receives your data

Our data provider that retrieves policy data via BankID on your instruction; our hosting provider in the EU; and, only if you consent to it in the cookie banner, Google (Tag Manager, Analytics) and Meta (Pixel) for analytics and advertising measurement. No policy data or identity number is ever sent to Google or Meta.

How long we keep it

Account and policy data: while your account is active. After closure, records that fall under Dutch tax and bookkeeping law are kept for 7 years; all other data is deleted within 30 days. Communications: 2 years. Analytics: 13 months in pseudonymised form.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@polisone.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY).
